Greenough Harbour Community

About Us

We are a small community on Lake Huron in the beautiful Northern Bruce Peninsula about 30 minutes north and west of Wiarton. Residents enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the area and are strong stewards of the environment.

Greenough Harbour is approximately 1300 acres of pristine waterfront property at Stokes Bay on the shores of Lake Huron, and is surrounded by water and over 8,000 acres of protected forest. There are 61 lots, that range between 100′ to 300′ wide and an average depth of 500′. Lot owners can design their own homes and can use any builder of their choice. There are a number of excellent local builders in the area. Lots are serviced by well water, septic systems and underground hydro.

The environment is important to this development and protection plans for trees, habitat, vegetation and wildlife are in place for all greenspace areas and the private lots. Wildlife is abundant including the Eastern Massassauga Rattler, black bears, deer, and even eagles and porcupine have been spotted.
